About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to join our team as a Community Gardener Volunteer. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in maintaining our community garden, ensuring it remains a beautiful and thriving green space for our community to enjoy.

Key Responsibilities

As a Community Gardener Volunteer, your primary responsibilities will include:

  • Maintenance of our community garden, including physical work such as digging, lifting, and carrying
  • Growing and nurturing plants, trees, and flowers
  • Working in a customer-facing role in a diverse community
  • Assisting in the upkeep of our garden space

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to be:

  • Passionate about the outdoors and gardening
  • Comfortable working in a team environment
  • Keen to learn and share knowledge about growing fruits and vegetables in an eco-friendly way
  • Available to commit to attending the garden at least once a month
