Warehouse Facilities Manager Job Description

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Facilities Manager to join our team at a successful food manufacturer in Portbury, Bristol. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities, including a cold store warehouse that runs at -23 degrees.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and facilities, ensuring they are functional, safe, and compliant.
  • Support the transition to new facilities over the coming years, driving cost-efficiency and aligning with our organization's business objectives.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless operations and achieve business goals.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve warehouse efficiency, productivity, and safety.
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure effective use of assets and minimize waste.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in facilities management, warehouse operations, or a related field.
  • H&S accreditation such as NEBOSH or IOSH.
  • Excellent financial and budget understanding.
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills.
  • Warehouse management / Cold Store experience.
  • Understanding of engineering helpful.
