Warehouse Operations Manager

Our client, a leading food manufacturer, is seeking a highly skilled Warehouse Manager to oversee the smooth operation and maintenance of their facilities at Portbury, Bristol. As the successful candidate, you will ensure that the warehouse and cold store are functional, safe, and compliant with all relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the warehouse and cold store
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and standards
- Develop and implement cost-saving initiatives to drive efficiency
- Collaborate with the team to achieve business objectives
- Manage inventory and stock levels to minimize waste and optimize storage
- Oversee maintenance and repairs of equipment and facilities
Requirements:
- Proven experience in facilities management and warehouse operations
- Strong understanding of health and safety regulations and standards
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
- Knowledge of inventory management and stock control systems

This role is commutable from Somerset, Gloucester, Wales, Cardiff, Newport, Cheltenham, Bristol, Weston Super Mare, and may suit a person that has previously worked as a Warehouse manager, Cold Store manager, Facilities, Storage Manager.
