Role Overview

Actemium Automation Hampshire is seeking a skilled Software Controls Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our Oil & Gas Storage and Distribution Sector, you will play a vital role in supporting and delivering automation projects to our key accounts.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Develop and modify PLC, HMI, and SCADA software to meet customer standards.
  • Advise customers on automation solutions and best practices for control system architectures.
  • Conduct site surveys and assist with project quotations for engineering time and materials.

Requirements:

  • Good working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems from OEMs like Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Aveva Wonderware, and Beijer.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematic diagrams from industrial environments.
  • Awareness of water sector standards.
