Job Summary

Johnson Controls is seeking a skilled HVAC Mobile Service Technician to join their UK&I Service team. As a key member of the team, you will provide top-quality service and maintenance to HVAC systems, working within a set timeframe and according to defined processes and customer needs.

Key Responsibilities
  • Service, maintain, and repair various Chiller, AC, and HVAC equipment installed at client facilities.
  • Primary contact for all technical service issues, responsible for troubleshooting and resolving complex systems.
  • Involved in commissioning, servicing, repair, and installation works, ensuring completion according to set specifications and customer expectations.
  • Provide technical expertise and mentoring to less experienced service team members, coordinating on-site work activity.

Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Chiller/AC/HVAC Service Engineer, with further building services experience advantageous.
  • Relevant technical qualifications in HVAC, including NVQ level 2 and F-Gas Certificate.
  • Strong knowledge of Chiller systems, controls, and components, including DX, Split, and VRV systems, AHUs, and ventilation plant.
  • Experience with major manufacturers such as York, Trane, Carrier, Airedale, Hitachi, and Mitsubishi, etc.
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Exceptional customer service and communication skills, with strong admin skills using IT devices for work completion and technical reports.
  • Willingness to participate in on-call rota and hold a full UK driving license, with ability to travel as required.
