About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Software Controls Engineer to join our team in the Water Sector. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing PLC, HMI, and SCADA software solutions for our clients in the water industry.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop PLC, HMI, and SCADA software solutions for water sector projects.
  • Collaborate with customers to understand their automation needs and provide expert advice on control system architectures.
  • Conduct site surveys and assist with project quotations.
  • Produce documentation for site access and ensure compliance with customer standards.
  • Commit to the whole life cycle of delivering projects from start to finish.

The Person:

  • Good working knowledge of PLC, SCADA, and HMI systems for OEMs such as Rockwell, Schneider, Mitsubishi, Aveva Wonderware, and Beijer.
  • Experience in setting up, commissioning, and fault-finding of industrial networks.
  • Ability to read and understand electrical schematic diagrams from industrial environments.
  • Awareness of standards to be followed in the water sector.
  • Experience in reading, programming, and fault-finding PLC and SCADA application software.

Benefits Package:

We offer a competitive salary range of £55,000 - £65,000 (experience dependent), 25 days of holiday plus bank holidays, and a range of other benefits including a profit share scheme, Vinci share scheme, and company pension scheme.
