Internal Salesperson

We are seeking a highly skilled Internal Salesperson to drive sales success and contribute to the future growth of our organization.

About the Role
  • Foster strong relationships with customers, including Builders Merchants and Contractors, by providing exceptional customer service and meeting their needs.
  • Handle incoming inquiries and convert them into orders through proactive follow-up efforts.
Key Responsibilities
  1. Drive sales success by meeting and exceeding personal and departmental targets.
  2. Provide technical advice and recommendations to customers when necessary.
  3. Assist in implementing strategic sales and marketing initiatives.
  4. Maintain and update the customer relationship management system to track progress and opportunities.
  5. Develop and nurture new and existing targeted accounts.
  6. Handle inbound and outbound sales calls with existing and potential customers.
  7. Prepare and deliver quotations promptly and professionally.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in the construction industry (desired but not essential).
  • A background in customer relations with a passion for delivering excellent service.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with individuals at all levels.
  • Proficiency in IT and CRM systems.

Estimated salary range: £35,000 - £45,000 per annum, depending on experience.
