Quality Assurance Officer

La Casa Del Formaggio is seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Officer to join our team in Edinburgh Park. As a key member of our quality team, you will be responsible for ensuring our premium dairy products meet the highest quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily inspections across production areas to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Lead the coordination of external microbiological testing and in-house analysis to drive improvements in quality and safety.
  • Take charge of equipment calibration, sensory evaluations, and environmental monitoring to guarantee safety and compliance.
  • Collaborate with production, logistics, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless operations and effective communication of quality outcomes.
  • Deliver food safety and hygiene training to staff to empower them to uphold best practices.
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Food Safety: A Bachelor's in Food & Nutrition Science, Microbiology, or a related field (preferred), with a strong grasp of SQF, HACCP, and industry best practices.
  • Tech-Savviness: Advanced proficiency in Word and Excel to track, analyze, and report on quality data.
