Contract Management and Sales Expertise
We are seeking a highly skilled Contract and Sales Executive to join our team at Cummins Inc. in Discovery Park, UK. This role requires a strong understanding of contract management and sales principles to drive business growth and success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Contract Execution: Oversee the full lifecycle of contracts, ensuring alignment with company objectives and goals.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to define contract scopes, objectives, and goals.
- Strategic Planning: Develop comprehensive plans, set timelines, and monitor project progress to ensure successful contract delivery.
- Risk Management: Proactively identify and resolve issues, and implement strategies to mitigate potential risks.
- Compliance: Draft and revise contracts, ensuring adherence to legal requirements and company policies.
- Negotiation: Secure advantageous contract terms and pricing through effective negotiation with relevant teams.
- Financial Management: Manage budgets, providing financial insights to support decision-making and maintain fiscal responsibility.
- Knowledge Sharing: Document key learnings and best practices to enhance future contract management processes.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Strong Financial Acumen: Ability to understand and apply financial indicators to inform better business decisions.
- Effective Communication Skills: Capable of delivering clear, audience-specific communications and explaining complex topics in an understandable manner.
- Customer-Centric Approach: Focus on building strong relationships and developing solutions tailored to customer needs.
- Proficient in Contract Management: Skilled in managing contract scope, schedule, resources, and resolving issues, while handling conflicts and complexities effectively.
Education/Experience:
Qualifications:
- College, university, or equivalent degree required.
- Ability to negotiate terms, conditions, and pricing with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical specifications.
- Reviewing contracts for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with legal and project requirements.
- Developing solutions to complex contractual issues and project challenges.
