About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Accounts Manager to join our team at Kenton Black Limited. As an Accounts Manager, you will be responsible for managing the financial operations of our client, a leading business in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage and maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including VAT returns, CIS submissions, and payroll processing.
  • Prepare and submit financial statements, including profit and loss accounts, balance sheets, and cash flow statements.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts, and provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant financial regulations and laws, including the Construction Industry Scheme (CIS) and HMRC requirements.
  • Develop and implement financial processes and procedures to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide financial guidance and support to management and other staff members.
Requirements
  • Proven experience in financial management, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Strong knowledge of financial software, including Sage 50.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work accurately and efficiently under pressure.
