A highly skilled Senior Contracts Manager is required for a NHS Trust in the South East, working at an 8b level with a salary range of £64,000 - £74,000 per annum, depending on experience.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in NHS Contracting and Commissioning, with a strong understanding of NHS Standard Contracts. They will be able to analyse complex performance and activity information, and evaluate the impact on business performance.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of small/medium/large contracts, leading contract negotiations, and providing regular contract review meetings. They will also be responsible for ensuring any Commissioner queries/disputes are resolved in a timely manner.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and monitor contract KPIs
  • Negotiate contracts where necessary
  • Lead contract negotiations to a successful conclusion
  • Initiate action plans and engage clinical leadership to drive robust contract management

Key Requirements:

  • Extensive experience in NHS Contracting and Commissioning
  • Understanding of NHS Standard Contracts
