We are Arts Council, a leading cultural institution in England. Our mission is to make the arts and cultural activities we fund inclusive, so everyone has the chance to lead creative and cultural lives regardless of their background.

About the Role

This Relationship Director position will focus on building and maintaining relationships with funded organisations, supporting the development of the museums sector in the north.

You will manage a portfolio of funded organisations, providing funding advice and guidance on Arts Council National Lottery Project Grants and other funds. Your role will involve assessing financial information, identifying risk, and providing feedback on artistic plans.

You will also take a place-based, creativity-led approach to cultural development by working with local stakeholders in targeted areas. This includes helping to improve the diversity of the projects we fund by giving feedback to applicants and looking to support a wide range of first-time applicants.

Requirements:

  • Degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Salary and Benefits:

The salary for this position is £36,987 per annum, plus benefits including a final salary pension scheme and generous annual leave. We are committed to flexible working and offer hybrid working options.
