Senior Mechanical Design Engineer

Vertical Recruitment is working with a progressive engineering consultancy focused on building services across various projects nationwide. This consultancy prioritizes client satisfaction and staff work-life balance.
We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Design Engineer to join their main office in Leicester City Centre. As a project lead of the mechanical design team, you will be responsible for leading and growing the team, promoting consultation and collaboration within the team.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and grow the mechanical design team, promoting consultation and collaboration within the team.
- Full detailed mechanical design by yourself or as lead of project group.
- Actively participate in the design verification process for the team, as well as checking and signing off junior/intermediate engineers' designs.
- Ability to manage multiple projects to meet all assigned deadlines.
- Proficient with AutoCAD, Hevacomp, and ideally, but not essential, Revit.
- Ideally a minimum of 6 years within mechanical design.
