About the ServiceSolace Women's Aid provides a range of services to support women and children affected by domestic and sexual violence. Our team works tirelessly to provide safe refuge and move-on accommodation, as well as specialist support services for those in need.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to coordinate our children and families programme. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and delivering services that meet the needs of children and young people (0-16 years) and their mothers in refuge and within the community.
Key Responsibilities- Lead on the development of a child and family-centered approach to work in the refuge
- Work collaboratively with colleagues and external partners to ensure effective service delivery
- Maintain accurate records and reports on programme activities and outcomes
The ideal candidate will have significant experience of working with vulnerable children, young people, and families, as well as excellent communication and coordination skills. A strong understanding of the impact of domestic abuse on young people is essential.
