Job Details

We are recruiting for an Independent Living Assistant to work in our Extra Care Scheme in Lymington. This is a full-time opportunity to provide support to individuals with their daily routines and promote independence.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting customers with their personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. They will also engage in conversation, participate in household tasks, and encourage integration into the community.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promoting independence and encouraging customers to take part in activities
  • Providing quality personal care and assisting with daily routines
  • Engaging in conversation and building relationships with customers
  • Participating in household tasks and supporting customers with meal preparation

Requirements

  • No prior experience required; training provided
  • Able to work flexible hours, including weekends and bank holidays
  • Fully enhanced DBS disclosure (obtained by SCA)

Salary

The estimated salary for this role is £21,500 - £25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
