The Role: Senior Merchandiser
  • Develop sales forecasts, budget plans, and capacity reports to ensure accurate updates on sales, stock, and product positions.
  • Oversee stock levels, sales performance, Average Selling Price (ASP), and margin, providing insights at both top-line and product levels.
  • Identify and execute trading initiatives such as product repeats, pricing adjustments, promotional plans, stock clearance, and intake management.
  • Track and forecast sales and stock in alignment with Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).
  • Conduct detailed seasonal analysis reviewing product repeats and ratios, seasonal delivery timelines, and more.
  • Manage and update the Weekly Sales and Stock Intake (WSSI), ensuring accurate forecasting and stock alignment with KPIs, sales targets, and intake schedules.
  • Evaluate and propose adjustments to selling prices based on performance, seasonality, and market trends.

Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Fashion, Business, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 6 years in merchandising, preferably within an e-commerce or fashion environment.
  • Strong analytical abilities, with expertise in advanced Excel for data management and in-depth analysis.
  • Previous experience with apparel brands is highly desirable.
