About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for handling the company's day-to-day financial operations. This role involves general bookkeeping, maintaining accurate financial records, and assisting the Payroll and Management teams with various tasks.

This is an office-based position with no hybrid working arrangements.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Invoices and Payments: Timely and accurate payment of supplier invoices, resolving discrepancies and obtaining approvals.
  2. Payroll Management: Supporting the Payroll Team with driver payment schedules, ensuring accurate record-keeping and authorisation of payments.
  3. Tax and Compliance: Assisting with VAT return preparation and submission, ensuring compliance with HMRC regulations.
  4. Document Management and Filing: Organising and managing financial documentation, ensuring all records are properly scanned, filed, and logged.
  5. Accounting System Maintenance: Updating and maintaining the company's accounting systems, ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of issues.
  6. Sales Invoice Management: Collaborating with the sales team to generate accurate sales invoices, addressing any discrepancies in a timely manner.
Salary

An estimated salary for this role is £25,000 per annum.
