Senior Electrical Engineer Opportunity

Booth Welsh Ltd is expanding its operations in the Grangemouth/Falkirk area to meet the growing demand for engineering resources and support recent project wins. Our new office will provide a versatile workspace for staff and contractors, enabling flexible working arrangements.

We are seeking a skilled Senior Electrical Engineer to join our projects engineering team as a pivotal member. The ideal candidate will have diverse professional expertise, managing and overseeing multiple concurrent projects, ensuring adherence to deadlines. This role involves substantial client interaction, requiring a broad scope of electrical technical knowledge and significant experience in industrial/commercial settings.

Preferred candidates will bring expertise from the pharmaceutical/fine chemical sector, showcasing competencies and behaviours essential for effective, self-directed work.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the design and coordination of electrical improvement projects with internal stakeholders and external consultants.
  • Review, estimate, and design electrical requirements for all projects.
  • Manage the approvals of electrical project documentation.
  • Ensure technical reviews are undertaken with Head Office and key stakeholders.
Requirements
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering (preferable but not essential).
  • Chartered or working toward Chartered (preferable but not essential).
  • Higher National Diploma in Electrical Engineering (minimum qualification).
