Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

  1. Design and develop electrical systems for various projects, including MCC's, Switchboards and control systems
  2. Create electrical schematic diagrams and general arrangements using CAD software
  3. Perform electrical calculations
  4. Collaborate closely with other engineers and project managers to ensure designs meet project requirements and timelines
  5. Participate in design reviews and provide technical guidance
  6. Provide technical support to sales, production and project teams from bid through to commissioning

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

  1. HNC/HND/Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field
  2. A minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical design engineering
  3. Proficiency in CAD software
  4. Experience with electrical calculations
  5. Knowledge of UK electrical codes and standards
  6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  7. Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously
