Job Overview

We are seeking highly skilled Anaesthetic Practitioners to join our dedicated theatre team at Birmingham Children's Hospital. This exciting opportunity allows you to develop core skills and gain valuable experiences working in a specialized centre for paediatric surgery.

As an Anaesthetic Practitioner, you will work within a large multidisciplinary team, across various specialties, ranging from complex cardiac surgery to day case procedures. You will be supported by our Theatre Leads, Managers, and Education team on your journey.

Main Duties of the Job
  • Work within a dynamic and supportive environment to deliver excellent patient care.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in anaesthetic practice, staying up-to-date with best practices and guidelines.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of new procedures and protocols.

The successful candidate will have excellent verbal and written communication skills, able to work well independently and as part of a team. They will also be able to engage with IT programmes that support patient care and work flexibly to meet service demands.
