About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Assistant Supply Chain Manager to join our Procurement Team at Countess of Chester Hospital NHS Foundation Trust.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the Supplies Section, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
  • Lead the Supplies Team, providing guidance and support to ensure the successful implementation of the Procurement Strategy.
  • Develop and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Trust's Procurement Strategy, ensuring alignment with the Trust's vision and values.
  • Implement lean methodology to eliminate waste and improve process efficiency.
  • Manage human resources for Supplies staff, including recruitment, performance management, attendance management, training, and development.
