As a Training Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating training content and curriculums that empower individuals to safely and effectively engage in technical diving and submersible operations. This role is ideal for a digital native who is passionate about the scientific potential of deep-sea exploration and oceanic discovery.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop detailed lesson plans, course materials, assessments, and instructional guides for various skill levels, incorporating real-world scenarios.
  • Create engaging and interactive training content, including e-learning modules, manuals, presentations, and multimedia resources.
  • Collaborate with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to ensure technical accuracy and relevance of training materials.
  • Apply adult learning theories and instructional design best practices to create effective, learner-centred training programmes.
  • Support and guide instructors and facilitators on the delivery of training programmes.


Requirements:
  • Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
  • Proficiency in using e-learning development tools and Learning Management Systems (LMS).
  • Demonstrable success in producing high-volume training content and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to convey complex technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience in designing assessments and evaluations to measure learning outcomes.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Desirable: Recognised qualification in training such as CTT+ or CIPD, and a bachelor's degree in Instructional Design or Education.
