Job Title: Nursery Room Leader

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nursery Room Leader to join our team at JEM Childcare Solutions. As a key member of our staff, you will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating environment for our children, promoting their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement engaging and purposeful experiences for children, aligned with their age and stage of development.
  • Enhance the daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
  • Assist in embedding an effective key person approach to foster secure attachments between children and staff.
  • Ensure the safety and wellbeing of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to support all children and staff within the room.
  • Lead and support the team, providing training and development opportunities to ensure best practice.
  • Understand and ensure compliance with the statutory framework for the EYFS.
Requirements:
  • Qualified Level 3 or above with at least 3 years of experience in a day nursery and at least 1 year of leading a team.
