The Role

As a Field Service Engineer at Rotork, you will be responsible for delivering essential service plans to our customers and their sites, addressing various technical faults, and executing planned maintenance for our products. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will be an integral part of a national Field Service Engineering Team, providing swift and effective solutions to customer issues.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and repair technical faults in the field
  • Conduct repairs, testing, and modifications of actuators
  • Handle mechanical and electrical installations of actuators, along with associated retrofit adaptations of components, pedestals, and drive shafts
  • Accurate and technical site visit reports for each job completion

Requirements

  • Technical experience and/or relevant knowledge of valves, actuators, and digital control systems or related equipment
  • Good understanding of basic electronics, electrical, and fluid power theories
  • Ability to read and understand electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic schematics and utilization of common test and calibration tools
  • Experience of working in a practical engineering environment
