Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer with electrical CAD experience to join our team at BMR Solutions Ltd. As a Field Service Engineer, you will be responsible for providing technical support to our sales team, liaising with customers to ensure products are designed correctly, and undertaking fault finding and electrical/mechanical repairs where needed.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and test equipment before it leaves the workshop
  • Check and approve drawings for production
  • Prepare quotations and technical drawings
  • Update and refine old drawings
  • Provide technical support to other departments and customers
  • Carry out site surveys prior to installation and as part of fault finding
  • Provide fault finding and system training to customers
  • Carry out fault finding and electrical/mechanical repairs

Requirements

  • Electrical qualification
  • Control panel design experience
  • Experience using computer design packages such as AutoCAD
  • Experience working independently on site
  • Able to travel and work away from home occasionally
