We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Associate Practitioner to join our team at Essex Partnership University NHS Foundation Trust. As an Associate Practitioner, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to individuals with mental health needs.
Key Responsibilities- Work independently and accountably as part of a team of clinicians offering 24hr mental health access and information in the locality of the Trust.
- Act as a role model to other colleagues within the team.
- Work collaboratively with key partner organisations, service users, clinicians & other practitioners within the multi-disciplinary team.
- Deliver high-quality, effective operational service to people with mental health needs, in accordance with the principles & objective of the Trust and its vision as identified in the service.
- Rotate in taking the lead role in the physical health needs of service users and therapeutic activities.
- Provide training in aspects of care to new starters on the unit.
We are looking for an individual with the following skills, knowledge and experience:
- Essential skills: ability to work independently, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Desirable skills: experience of working in a mental health setting, knowledge of the Mental Health Act 1983.
