Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced General Manager to join our team at Holroyd Howe, a leading contract caterer providing fresh and innovative food services to independent schools and colleges.

About the Role

  • Lead the food service team to deliver high-quality catering services that meet the diverse needs of our clients.
  • Develop and implement menus that cater to various dietary requirements and preferences, working closely with the back-of-house team.
  • Manage the catering budget, ensuring cost-effective operations while maintaining quality standards.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, hygiene standards, and quality control protocols.
  • Identify opportunities for growth, innovation, and improvement in menu offerings, service delivery, and operational efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety regulations.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a General Manager or Deputy General Manager in a high-volume, quality-focused environment.
  • Financially astute, with strong analytical skills and ability to create and maintain budgets.
  • Excellent coaching, delegation, and influencing skills.
  • Ability to prioritize multiple projects in a fast-paced, multi-faceted environment and thrive under pressure.
