Job Summary

Morgan Hunt Recruitment is working with a leading social housing provider to find a talented Fire Risk Assessor to join their team.

About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Fire Risk Assessor to identify fire hazards and risks, record findings, and advise on fire prevention. The successful candidate will have the ability to work carefully to follow strict fire safety legislation and guidelines set by the government and fire and rescue services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct thorough fire risk assessments on residential properties.
  • Stay up-to-date with changes in legislation and fire safety guidelines.
  • Produce detailed written reports to document findings.
  • Promote good fire safety practices with tenants and ensure effective management of fire safety in residential and communal areas.
  • Assist with monitoring and maintaining the organization's fire risk assessment program and database.

Requirements

  • Ability to manage a diary with autonomy.
  • Experience in conducting fire risk assessments.
  • Fire-related qualification or professional membership (e.g., IFE, NEBOSH).
  • Good attention to detail.
  • Proficient written communication skills for report writing.
  • Technical understanding of fire safety.
