Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Fire Risk Assessor to join our team at Search People. As a Fire Risk Assessor, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety of our clients' premises by conducting thorough fire risk assessments and providing expert advice on fire safety management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct site visits to assess fire risks and identify potential hazards
  • Develop and implement fire risk assessment reports and hazard identification strategies
  • Apply risk-based interpretation and apply fire safety documents to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and standards
  • Evaluate passive fire protection arrangements and identify effective methods for applying fire stopping to service penetrations
  • Conduct fire safety management audits and present findings to clients
Requirements:
  • Experience in conducting fire risk assessments, fire safety audits, and writing fire risk assessment reports
  • Recognizable and professional qualifications in fire safety management and fire safety surveying and risk assessing
  • Good understanding of relevant fire safety legislation, fire behavior, and the behavior of people in fire
  • Fire Risk Assessors and/or Auditors qualifications by a professional institution, such as FPA, IFE, etc.
  • Recognized 3rd Party Accreditation with the Institute of Fire Engineers Register of Fire Risk Assessors
  • NEBOSH NGC3 Fire Risk Assessment qualifications (or equivalent)
