Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse Position at East Kent Hospitals

We are recruiting a Band 6 Sister/Charge Nurse to join our Critical Care department at The QEQM Hospital Margate. This is an exciting opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse leader to work in a busy, mixed-level unit admitting emergency and elective patients from various specialities.

The ideal candidate will possess a Degree in Nursing, three years of experience in a critical care setting, and adult critical care qualification preparation as a mentor or practical assessor. You will also have a Master's degree or be working towards one. Your expertise in clinical assessment, communication, and influencing skills will enable you to lead and motivate your team to deliver exceptional patient care.

This role involves:

  • Leading and managing a team of critical care nurses
  • Developing and implementing clinical policies and procedures
  • Participating in quality improvement initiatives
  • Collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to achieve exceptional patient outcomes
