Clinical Research Professional in Gastroenterology

Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Research Professional to join its IBD Specialist Nursing team. As a Band 6 Clinical Research Nurse, you will play a key role in providing comprehensive clinical skills, information, advice, and support to patients with inflammatory bowel disease.
The main duties of this role include:
- Providing rapid access for patients to specialist care and advice through face-to-face and telephone contact.
- Working as an independent practitioner both on the ward and in the outpatient setting, including Primary Care.
- Participating in clinical audits and research in specialist areas.
- Participating in the education and training of multidisciplinary staff within the Trust.
- Providing a flexible approach to collaborative working to ensure patients have seamless access to specialist care.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of approximately £42,000 - £53,000 per annum, depending on experience. We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional who possesses a relevant degree, mentorship experience, and evidence of continuous professional development.
