Clinical Specialist

Our organization is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Specialist to join our team as a Functional Assessor. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing individuals and evaluating how their disabilities or conditions impact their work life. You will utilize your clinical expertise to conduct thorough medical assessments, taking into account each person's unique circumstances and medical history.
This role requires strong communication skills, empathy, and the ability to ask the right questions while upholding best practice standards. Meeting with individuals face-to-face and via telephone/video calls, you will produce concise, accurate reports for the Department of Work & Pensions (DWP).
To excel in this position, you must be committed to continuous professional development and have experience using a range of software. Self-awareness and a focus on professional growth are essential qualities for success in this role.
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary of £38,250 per annum, based on a 3-day working week. Additionally, they will be eligible for a quality-related bonus of up to 10% once approved and eligible. A comprehensive training program will be provided, along with full IT equipment for remote working. Annual registration fees will also be paid, and the company offers a generous pension contribution of up to 6% employer-matched.
