Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Permanent Futures in South Yorkshire. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for fault-finding and repairing machinery electrically and mechanically.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on planned and reactive maintenance on a three-shift rotation.

  • Maintenance of electrical and mechanical machinery
  • Providing reactive and preventative maintenance (PPMs) on all machinery
  • Collaborating with a team of engineers
  • Attending to machinery breakdowns
  • Fault finding and repair
  • Maintenance of facilities equipment
  • Ensuring adherence to health & safety procedures
  • Maintaining documentation and recording all breakdowns and servicing work
Requirements
  1. Hold a minimum NVQ / C&G Level 3 in engineering or equivalent qualification
  2. 17th/18th edition certification
  3. Desirable: management or team leader experience and fast-paced manufacturing environment exposure
