Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Maintenance Engineer to join our team at Questech Recruitment Ltd. As a key member of our operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our machinery and equipment.

About the Role:

  • Conduct routine maintenance and inspections on various machines and equipment.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical or electrical faults efficiently.
  • Implement preventative maintenance measures to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborate with the production team to optimize machine performance.
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and company policies.

Salary: £48,900 per year (competitive salary)

Benefits:

  • Earn a competitive salary of £48,900 per year.
  • A structured 12-hour shift pattern with a 3 on 2 off, 2 on 3 off rotation.

Requirements:

  • Apprentice Trained (NVQ Level 3).
  • Proven experience as a Multiskilled Maintenance Engineer, with either a mechanical or electrical bias.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in using maintenance tools and equipment.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.
  • Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends.
