Automation and Maintenance Specialist

We are looking for an experienced Automation and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Winsearch. As a key member of our operations team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.
Your primary responsibility will be to maintain and repair our automation equipment, enforcing company safety policies and procedures. You will also collaborate with operational management and cross-functional teams to achieve our goals.

We offer a competitive salary package of £45,000 plus benefits, including a Panama Shift schedule (2 on, 2 off, 3 on, 2 off, 2 on, 3 off) - Day and Night Shifts.
Key Responsibilities:- Maintain and repair automation equipment to minimize downtime.
- Enforce company safety policies and procedures to ensure all team members adhere to health and safety standards.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with operational management, cross-functional teams, and external stakeholders.
- A qualification in an engineering discipline or relevant experience.
- Extensive knowledge in automation, electrical, and mechanical skills, including drivers, belts, motors, pneumatics, hydraulics, compressors, dock levellers, roller shutter doors, and general maintenance equipment.
- Familiarity with fault-finding in PLCs (Siemens hardware/software) is beneficial.
- Experience working in FMCG, automotive, or manufacturing industries.
