Job Description

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Regional Community Engagement Manager, where you will be responsible for engaging volunteers and working with partners across the area to raise funds and awareness for RABI.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Engage volunteers and work with partners to raise funds and awareness for RABI
  • Lead the development and delivery of community fundraising initiatives
  • Network and build relationships with local stakeholders, including corporate companies, agricultural suppliers, auction marts, colleges, and community groups
  • Work with other RABI departments to improve relationships with supporters and identify those with national importance
  • Develop and embed community fundraising good practice through RABI-led events and local activities
  • Participate in the development of volunteering across RABI, including the introduction of new systems to support volunteering and local engagement
  • Identify and pursue other community engagement opportunities in the region

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated experience and proven track record in volunteering and community engagement/fundraising
  • Strong networking and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to manage projects and events
  • Knowledge of CRM and event management systems
  • Experience working within a team, some or all members remote
  • Media training and ability to participate in TV or radio interviews

What We Offer:

  • An estimated salary of £33,088 per year, plus £2,500 car allowance
  • A full-time contract with regular travel to Cumbria, Lancashire, West Yorkshire, South Yorkshire, Merseyside, Cheshire
