Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join our team at Heatherwood Court, a forensic mental health hospital. Our hospital provides treatment and care to patients with complex needs, including severe and enduring mental illness, complex trauma, and difficulties consistent with a diagnosis of personality disorder.
The successful candidate will have experience working with service users with complex needs and challenging behaviors, as well as an interest in delivering evidence-based interventions for people with personality disorder and/or complex mental health problems. We are particularly interested in candidates who have received DBT training, but would offer training to suitable candidates on appointment.
This role will involve working as part of a specialist multi-disciplinary team, including a Consultant Clinical & Forensic Psychologist, Lead Clinical Psychologist, Trainee Forensic Psychologists, and Assistant Psychologists. The postholder will receive robust and regular line management and clinical supervision, and will be responsible for delivering person-centered therapeutic interventions.
