Clinical Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Clinical or Forensic Psychologist to join our dynamic team at Heatherwood Court, a forensic mental health hospital. Our hospital provides comprehensive treatment and care to patients with complex needs, including severe and enduring mental illness, complex trauma, and difficulties consistent with a diagnosis of personality disorder.
The successful candidate will have a strong background in delivering evidence-based interventions for individuals with personality disorder and/or complex mental health problems. Experience in working with service users with challenging behaviors and a willingness to deliver DBT training would be highly valued. As part of our multidisciplinary team, the postholder will receive robust line management and clinical supervision, with opportunities for professional development and growth.
Our team utilizes a range of therapeutic models, including CBT, DBT, CFT, EMDR, and Schema Focused Therapy, to provide person-centered care. The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the development and delivery of our staff well-being program, ensuring a supportive and relational-focused environment for both staff and service users.
