Travelers is seeking a highly experienced Senior Director to lead our Regulatory support activities, Third Party Risk Management, and Operational Resilience functions.

This role is critical in ensuring that our business remains compliant with current and future regulations while maintaining robust operational resilience. The successful candidate will manage a team of professionals responsible for developing and implementing strategies to mitigate third-party risks and enhance operational resilience.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Third Party Risk Management:
    • Develop and continuously improve a comprehensive third-party risk management framework.
    • Conduct due diligence and risk assessments of third-party vendors and partners.
    • Monitor and report on third-party risk exposure and performance.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards.
    • Collaborate with procurement, compliance, legal, and other relevant departments to manage third-party contracts and relationships.
  • Regulatory Compliance:
    • Stay up-to-date on current and emerging regulations affecting third-party risk management and operational resilience.
    • Provide regular updates and reports to senior management and the board on compliance status and risk exposure.
  • Governance Programme:
    • Develop and implement a robust governance program to ensure compliance with expanding regulatory requirements across all business units.
    • Establish and maintain governance policies, procedures, and controls.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Lead, mentor, and develop a team of risk management and operational resilience professionals.
    • Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the team.

We offer a competitive salary of £85,000 - £110,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus a range of benefits including private medical insurance, retirement plan, holiday entitlement, wellness programme, and volunteer encouragement.
