About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Engineer Apprentice to join our team at Michael Page (UK). As a key member of our data engineering team, you will be responsible for designing and implementing resilient data pipelines, integrating data into our existing ELT process, and ensuring data is delivered in an agreed-upon format for data analysts.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Support the migration from Citrix VPN to AOVPN (via Express Route)
  • Ingest Dynamics F&O data and handle data distributed across multiple Azure regions
  • Integrate data into the existing ELT process and ensure data is delivered in an agreed-upon format for data analysts
  • Convert legacy JSON data to Parquet format and ingest Rant N Rave API data
  • Graph API data ingestion and design resilient data pipelines
Requirements:
  • Expertise in Azure services, especially AOVPN, Express Route, and cloud-based data solutions
  • Strong experience in ETL/ELT processes, data transformation, and ingestion techniques
  • Proficient in JSON to Parquet data conversion and familiarity with API-based data integration and Azure monitoring tools
  • Strong collaboration skills with infrastructure teams for platform changes and testing
What We Offer:
  • 6 month contract duration
  • £400 per day (Outside IR35)
  • Based in Birmingham (Remote working offered)
