Governance Assistant

Norwich Diocesan Board of Finance Limited is a registered charity dedicated to serving the local parish mission and ministry of Church of England churches, schools, and chaplainies across Norfolk and Waveney. We are seeking a highly organised individual to provide proactive support to our Chief Executive in delivering effective governance and executive services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide lead support for governance and electoral matters
- Coordinate governance meetings, including preparing agendas and minutes
- Offer administrative assistance to the Chief Executive as Company Secretary
- Assist with organising elections for various boards and committees
- Ensure accurate and up-to-date records of governance information are maintained
Requirements:
- Strong organisational, administrative, and committee skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines
- Familiarity with the Church of England and church structures an asset
