Job Title: Supervisor of Student Learning Environments

Estimated Salary Range: £85-£105 per day (dependent on location and experience)

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervisor of Student Learning Environments to join our team at beBee Professionals in Harlow, United Kingdom. As a critical member of our education team, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of classrooms, ensuring that students receive a supportive and engaging learning environment.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a school environment, with strong leadership and classroom management skills. You will be responsible for supervising and managing classrooms during teacher absences, delivering pre-prepared lesson plans, maintaining discipline, providing feedback to teaching staff, and supporting students with their learning needs.

In addition to your educational duties, you will also be required to collaborate with teachers to develop engaging lesson plans, support students with special needs, and contribute to school-wide initiatives and projects. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise and manage classrooms in the absence of the regular teacher
  • Deliver pre-prepared lesson plans and ensure students remain on task
  • Maintain discipline in accordance with school policies
  • Provide feedback to the teaching staff on the progress of students
  • Support students with special needs and provide individualized support
  • Collaborate with teachers to develop engaging lesson plans and improve student outcomes
  • Contribute to school-wide initiatives and projects, such as improving student achievement and enhancing teacher development
  • Assist with administrative tasks as required
Requirements
  • Previous experience in a school environment is preferred but not essential
  • Strong leadership and classroom management skills
  • Ability to motivate and inspire students and colleagues
  • Patience and a positive attitude toward supporting students
  • Flexibility to work on short notice when required
  • A valid DBS check or willingness to obtain one
