About the Role
The Urban Design Group is seeking a proactive Senior Manager to run the organisation on a day-to-day basis, manage a small team of part-time staff, help to organise and facilitate events, and work with us to deliver our charitable objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee the delivery of a wide range of supporting activities, including liaising with and building our membership, resources, and financial base.
- Help to organise and run events, and manage the website and social media.
- Manage HR processes, including recruitment and line-management of staff and volunteers.
- Oversee and facilitate the delivery of the Urban Design Group's annual programme of events across the UK.
- Develop strategies to generate additional income for the organisation through sponsorships, grants, and other sources.
Requirements
- At least 5 years relevant experience working for a charity or business, with experience of managing a variety of operations for a small/medium-sized organisation.
- Experience of growing a membership body will be an advantage.
- Ability to work independently and be hands-on, as well as enjoy working collaboratively with our members, Executive Committee, and Trustees.

- 28 days holiday plus a 3% employer's contribution.
- Hybrid or remote working with a regular presence in our London office to be agreed.
