Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective lobbying strategies to influence the political agenda
  • Build and maintain relationships with political stakeholders, including MPs, Lords, and Ministers
  • Work closely with the Communications Manager to develop and implement effective communications strategies
  • Manage political events, including receptions and APPG meetings
  • Support the production of reports, briefing papers, and insights as part of the external affairs team
  • Engage with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen relationships and gather information on key subjects
Requirements
  • Degree level or equivalent
  • Five+ years' experience in political, public affairs, or trade association roles
  • Proven track record of success in influencing the political agenda
  • Strong understanding of Parliament and the ability to build relationships with political stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a small team and meet tight deadlines
