Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Stress Engineer to join our Helicopter Division in Yeovil. As a key member of the Structures Team, you will be responsible for developing structural design solutions in collaboration with other engineering departments and key stakeholders.

Our analysis team supports both the UK and Italian geographies, offering the opportunity to work on a wide product range, including conventional helicopters, tilt rotors, and unmanned air systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading a team of analysis engineers, you will be responsible for the coordination, creation, and delivery of static and dynamic analysis, test activities, and airworthiness compliance documentation.
  2. You will represent the Structures Analysis team in internal Design Reviews and Certification Panel discussions with the authorities.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in the analysis of complex engineering structures.
  2. Expert knowledge in conventional and numerical techniques for static analysis.
  3. Knowledge of composite materials and analysis principles.
  4. Working experience of MSC Nastran/Altair HyperMesh/MathCAD.
