Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Stress Engineer to join our Helicopter Division in Yeovil. As a key member of our Structures Team, you will be responsible for the analysis, development, and certification of aircraft structures.

With a unique end-to-end facility, you will have the opportunity to see designs grow from concepts through to manufacture, installation, and flight. You will collaborate with other engineering departments and stakeholders to develop structural design solutions for our wide product range.

Our analysis team supports both the UK and Italian geographies, offering the opportunity to work on our full product range and travel to other sites.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Leading a team of analysis engineers, you will coordinate, create, and deliver static and dynamic analysis, test activities, and airworthiness compliance documentation.
  2. You will represent the Structures Analysis team in internal Design Reviews and Certification Panel discussions.
Requirements:
  1. Experience in the analysis of complex engineering structures.
  2. Expert knowledge in conventional and numerical techniques for static analysis.
  3. Knowledge of composite materials and analysis principles.
  4. Working experience of MSC Nastran/Altair HyperMesh/MathCAD.
