Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced IT Infrastructure Technician to join our team at pyramid8.

This role involves providing technical support and maintenance for our company's IT systems, including network administration, security management, and desktop support.

The successful candidate will have a solid understanding of IT infrastructure and systems, excellent communication skills, and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage Active Directory, including creating and amending user accounts.
  • Handle ad hoc travel requirements.
  • Set up and maintain mobile devices.
  • Maintain and track license usage.
  • Provide setup of company hardware.
  • Set up local networks and Wi-Fi.
  • Conduct asset management and tracking.

Requirements:

  • Previous 1st and 2nd line IT Support experience.
  • Knowledge of MS Products, Windows operating systems, and AD/Exchange.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external personnel.
  • Experience in telephone support and remote access.
  • Solid understanding of Information Security principles and ISO27001.
  • Experience in laptop setups and printer installations.
  • Understanding of LAN, Wi-Fi, VPNs, and lease lines.
  • Good troubleshooting skills.
  • Understanding of video conferencing facilities.
  • Understanding of IP phone systems.
  • MDM experience would be advantageous.
  • Able to work on own initiative and maintain solid performance under pressure.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask.
  • Must be a proactive thinker with the ability to identify recommendations and develop ideas.
