Salary and Benefits

The salary for this role is £57,713 - £66,064 per annum, plus a car allowance of £3,621 per year.

Job Description

This Senior Corporate Projects Manager will play a key role in delivering feasibility studies, scoping, and implementing corporate projects that support the council's corporate plan.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading and managing complex projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective stakeholder engagement.
  • Providing advice, support, and briefings to senior leadership on national, regional, and local topics, particularly related to strategic partnerships.
  • Collaborating with internal teams to ensure project deliverables align with corporate priorities and minimize unintended consequences.
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Demonstrable knowledge of either the visitor economy or economic development fields within a local authority or wider public sector environment.
  • Proven experience of leading and managing projects, with a track record of delivering results in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.
Location

This role is based in Canterbury, Kent, and requires occasional travel to meetings and events. We offer flexible, hybrid working arrangements to support a good work-life balance.
