**Job Title:** Family Support Practitioner
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Family Support Practitioner to join our team at Vibe Recruit Limited. As a key member of our support staff, you will provide comprehensive support to children and young people aged 0-18 who may be experiencing emotional, behavioral, or social difficulties.
**Salary:** £25,000 - £30,000 per annum, depending on experience

Key Responsibilities- Provide Direct Support: Offer emotional and practical support to children, helping them to build confidence, resilience, and independence.
- Care Planning: Assist in developing and implementing personalized care plans, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met.
- Advocacy: Advocate on behalf of children to ensure their voices are heard and their rights are upheld.
- Collaboration: Work in partnership with families, schools, social workers, and other professionals to deliver coordinated care.
- Activities and Engagement: Organize and participate in activities that promote socialization, learning, and fun in a safe environment.
- Crisis Intervention: Provide immediate support during crises, helping to stabilize situations and develop coping strategies.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of interactions, care plans, and progress reports.
- Previous experience working with children or young people in a support, care, or educational setting is preferred.
- Relevant qualifications in childcare, social care, or a related field are desirable but not essential; we value experience and a passion for helping others.
- A genuine commitment to improving the lives of children and an understanding of the challenges they may face.
- Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends, as required by the needs of the children.
- A valid driver's license is essential, as the role may involve travel within Carmarthenshire.
