Perioperative Care Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced practitioner to join our Day Surgery Team in Prince Philip Hospital, delivering the highest standard of perioperative care to patients.
This is an exciting opportunity for a flexible practitioner who develops existing skills with motivation, vision, and leadership qualities necessary to support and develop theatre practitioners.

Our team of 12,000 staff members provide primary, community, in-hospital, mental health, and learning disabilities services to almost 400,000 people across a quarter of Wales' landmass.
Main Duties:- Support and teach staff to deliver high standards of care.
- Communicate effectively with the Multidisciplinary Team.
- Lead and manage the Unit alongside Band 7's.
- RGN Level 1 or Registered Operating Departmental Practitioner.
- Specific clinical training/education related to theatre/recovery/anaesthetics.
- Evidence of Continued professional development to postgraduate diploma level.
- Expanded clinical nursing skills.
- BSc (in health-related subject) or willingness to work toward.
- Certificate/diploma in orthopaedic or trauma nursing.
- Post-registration experience including experience in the relevant clinical field.
- Multi-skilled competencies within the operating department.
- Welsh Speaker (Level 1).
Salary: $55,000 - $75,000 per annum
